Our In-Store Warranty is solely for electric bicycles supplied through Electric Bike Store Ltd for Corporate and Retail Customers.
The main components of your Electric Bike (Motor & Frame) are covered under a two-year warranty from date of purchase. This Two year warranty excludes wearing parts. Wearing parts include bearings, seals, cables, cable housing, all lubricants, oil, grease and brake fluid, chain, sprocket, chainrings, brake pads & callipers, tyres, wheels ,spokes, bar grips and bar tape, derailleur hangers, among others.
The Motor and frame are covered under a two year warranty for defects caused in the manufacturing process and under normal usage in line with our warranty conditions. Damage or defect as a result of incorrect or unintended use, improper storage, crashes or negligence, are not covered under warranty. All electric bicycles should be stored indoors and any excess water dried off prior to storage.
The battery is covered under a one year (12 month) warranty from the date of purchase by the original owner. This warranty also covers defects caused in the manufacturing process and under normal usage in line with our warranty conditions.
Damage to paintwork or anodising is not covered in this time. We reserve the right to repair defective frames and forks or to replace them with a corresponding successor model.
The warranty only covers the above, other costs such as assembly, transport, etc. are not covered.
The warranty does not cover the cost of unauthorised work or repairs carried out elsewhere without prior approval, or any other damage or issues resulting from such work.
Damage caused by incorrect or unintended use, such as negligence (lack of care and maintenance), crashes, excessive stress, incorrect storage and modifications to the frame or fork including the installation of additional components is not covered by the guarantee. The guarantee also does not cover damage from jumps or overuse of other kinds.
Please note that any electric bikes brought to our premises for mechanical or maintenance work must be collected within three months of arrival. After this period, a weekly storage fee of €15 will apply until the bike is collected.
In order to ensure your warranty is valid your e-bike must be kept and maintained to an acceptable standard and in line with our recommended maintenance guide. This includes carrying out manual checks and adjustment of equipment on a regular basis, and maintaining the recommended service schedule.

WEEKLY or 150–300 KM (whichever comes first)
Inspect
Check drivetrain for proper alignment and function (including chain, freewheel, chainring, and derailleur).
Check wheel trueness and spoke tension, and check for quiet wheel operation (without spoke noise).
Check frame for any damage.
Service Clean frame by wiping frame down with damp cloth.
If needed, adjust the derailleur and/or brake cable tension.
Clean and grease the chain.
Replace Replace any components confirmed to be broken or damaged beyond repair by the Electric Bike store or a certified, reputable bike mechanic.
MONTHLY or 300–1000 KM
Inspect Check brake pad alignment and brake cable tension.
Check for proper shifting and proper derailleur cable tension.
Check chain stretch.
Check brake and shifter cables for corrosion and fraying.
Check wheel trueness and spoke tension, and check for quiet wheel operation (without spoke noise).
Check accessory mounting (e.g., rack mounting bolts and fender hardware) and alignment.
Check all folding mechanisms in frame and handlebars and ensure they are tight and adjusted if necessary by a suitably competent person.
Service Clean and lubricate drivetrain.
Check crankset and pedal torque.
Clean brake and shift cables.
Tension spokes and true wheels if any loose spokes are found.
Optional: Balance the battery. This is not necessary if you've been charging your battery after nearly every
use and haven’t been storing it long term. It is important to charge your battery at least once a month to prolong the life of the battery and maximise it’s performance. Failure to do so could invalidate your warranty.
Replace Replace brake and shift cables if necessary.
Replace brake pads if necessary (typically when the pad material is thinner than the backing plate).
All work should be carried out by a suitably competent person, by the Electric Bike store or a certified, reputable bike mechanic.
EVERY 6 MONTHS or 1000–1800 KM
Inspect Inspect drivetrain (chain, chainring, freewheel, and derailleur).
Inspect all cables and housings.
Service Standard tune-up by certified, reputable bike mechanic.
Grease bottom bracket.
Replace Replace brake pads.
Replace tires if necessary.
Our guarantee starts from the date of purchase and is only valid for the original owner of the bike. This warranty is not transferable.
Electric Bike Store Ltd reserve the right to refuse warranty claims arising from excessive commercial use such as delivery and courier services, as our commuter and leisure models are not designed for this purpose or to carry excessive weight.
